Local churches

 St Andrews Street Baptist Church is a member of the Baptist Union and the Eastern Baptist Association. and has close links with other local churches including Barnwell Baptist Church, Eden Baptist, Zion Baptist,  Emmanuel United Reform Church,

St Barnabas Church and Cambridge City Church.

 The StoneYard Centre at St Andrews Street Baptist Church is used by various organisations and groups throughout the week for regular classes, activities and meetings. Amongst them are:

 The Central Language School teaching English to International Students, Monday to Friday throughout the year.

 The Korean Church meeting here for Sunday services and other activities during the week.

  The Cambridge University Musical Society rehearsing Thursday evenings during term time.

  Gog Magog Molly rehearsing on Tuesday evenings 

 Cambridge Dancers Club,meetings on Monday evenings during University Term, for beginners and more experienced dancers.

  CAMTAD hearing help sessions every Friday morning

 Across the City monthly publication of Christian events, meetings and classified ads.

 Cambridge City is a busy shopping and commercial centre during the day and has a lively nightlife with numerous restaurants, bars and clubs. There are two multiscreen cinemas, an arthouse cinema, two theatres and a ten-pin bowling complex.
